I have designed and registered a new tartan, The surname McGeachie is an Irish surname and a Scottish surname. In ancient times the family name in Gaelic was Mag or Mac Eachaidh (son of Eachaidh). This is a tartan for surnames or variants with origins from the Gaelic 'Eachaidh'. The tartan was created on 28th October 2008 to celebrate the Armorial House of McGeachie and McGeachie Day. Eachaidh is pronounced Eachie or Eachy.
